The Governors of Shortbrook Primary School wish to appoint a relief cleaner to join our already well established and hardworking team.

A relief cleaner is required to join the Shortbrook staff.  You need to be able to work as part of a hardworking team as well as using your own initiative.  You will be required to work to pre-determined cleaning areas under the direction/instruction of a Cleaner in Charge to provide a clean and hygienic school/health care environment which meets specified cleaning standards.  Additional hours may be available from time to time to cover sickness/holidays.  Any training required will be given and although relevant cleaning experience would be an advantage it is not essential. 

Confidentiality is essential to these roles as cleaning areas can cover the school and the Multi-Agency Services Team.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to complete a Criminal Records Disclosure form in line with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 and the Police Act Regulations.
