Parents wishing to visit the school should make an appointment with the school office.

Whilst it is often preferred by parents and the school that visits take place when children are in school, the Headteacher is willing to make appointments to meet individual circumstances. Please do not hesitate to ask.  During your visit to the school you will have a chance to discuss any individual needs and circumstances with us.

Provision for children with special educational needs is a priority whether they are medical, physical, emotional or learning related. Senior staff have great expertise in this area and are always pleased to discuss additional requirements with you. Please contact our SENDCO, Mrs Willoughby, if you need to discuss your child's needs.

Moving to our area?

If you are looking at enrolling your child here at Shortbrook and your child currently attends a different school please follow the procedures below:

• Inform a member of senior staff at your child's current school of your intentions
• Contact admissions on the contact number listed above to find out if the school have places
• Complete a transfer form (your child's current school will have one of these), the current school will fill in their part and you will need to complete a parent section. This is then sent off to Admissions to await a start date
